Robyn Rihanna popularly known as Rihanna in Barbados is an Barbadian artist and performer who has given us hits songs like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. As a young, accomplished singer and songwriter, she's already one of history's best selling artists. Born in Barbados and had a childhood filled with reggae. After she learned to sing, she became professional. In the wake of being disturbed by chaos of her family life and constant fights with her father, she began to get involved in the world of music. Before long she realized that she was on the right track to make it as an accomplished professional. While still in highschool, she formed a music group, and was asked to sing with Evan Rodgers. The producer was very impressed with the talents of this young lady. He asked the girl to relocate to New York in order to make a career of it as a performer, something she happily accepted. Rihanna released her first album and was an instant hit. People of all ages loved her energetic songs. This led Rihanna to create movies. Talented and young, Rihanna has been viewed as a teenager-idol, as well as a fashion icon. Rihanna put her celebrity to great use through being engaged in a variety of charity causes.
